Families Forward
At Capitol Autism Services and Land Park Academy we are dedicated to providing the highest quality services to children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and the people who care for them. The success of every program we provide is based on the partnership between our professionals and families. These partnerships are crucial to the remarkable and lasting progress our clients are able to achieve. Here you will find direct feedback from families about the positive effect both Capitol Autism Services and Land Park Academy are having on the children and families we serve.
Parent Satisfaction Surveys
As an integral part of providing the highest quality ABA services, Capitol Autism Services actively seeks feedback from every client family we serve. In addition to our daily interactions with families, we have created an annual survey that rates the client family’s satisfaction with our programs and professionalism. Our latest returned surveys show an overall satisfaction rating of 4.5 out of 5. With this kind of positive feedback to drive us, CAS continually strives to meet the highest clinical and professional expectations of our client families.
What Parents Are Saying
“Thank you for giving my son his words back. We lived a quiet life until Capitol Autism Services came into our lives. It’s been about a year now and our son has words again. He’s a different boy today and changing every day. His therapists from Capitol Autism Services are an everyday part of our lives now. They have not only taught my son, but they have taught me how to teach him. Everything he has lost when this all started is now back, and then some. He is now ready to enter a mainstream kindergarten class this fall. Approaching his IEP in a week, and with Capitol Autism Services there with me, together we will be sure to start him off right into the next phase of his journey. They not only guide you on where to go, they go with you.
Thank you Capitol Autism Services for everything you have done and continue to do.”

“Coming to Land Park Academy allowed for him to build up his day at school. While there, he’s engaged, happy, and has far less behavior than before. We feel good in knowing that he’s safe and learning in a positive environment. That staff has been great and we appreciate their efforts on our son’s behalf.”

“Our new consultant was very good at designing and helping implement a terrific program tailor-made for our son’s needs. Our consultant’s supervisor was also very involved and contributed valuable in-put. If our son wasn’t making progress with something or having difficulties learning a task, they came up with a new method to approach the difficult area. Our consultant, her supervisor, and our tutors brought their own enthusiasm and talents to ensure that our son had a high quality program. I always felt they had his best interest at heart.
Our time and training with this company increased our knowledge base considerably, providing many more “tools in our toolbox”. They were able to hand the training reigns over to us in the end and we were confident that we would be able to carry on without them.”

“It has been over a year that we have had them coming to our home doing parent training, lesson with the kids, community outings, and many other teaching opportunities. I love Capitol Autism Services! I love how they are there for me for my children's collaboration meetings and IEPs. I love that because of the knowledge they have taught me I am able to come up with solutions that work for my children's school, home, and church environments. It is great to have consistent help from professionals to teach and mold my children. We have seen considerable growth in both my children.
I am impressed with how professional the employees are with CAS. I have had two programs come into my home in the past and I would refer CAS first to everyone needing services for their child or children with Autism. I feel they respect my beliefs, my home, and my desires for the growth in my children. I feel they are facilitating me and my family to be professionals on Autism. We can cope, come up with ideas and brainstorm our way through each developmental challenge in my family's life. I say family because how our children grow affects the entire dynamic of the family. We work each week to building a better future for my children and our community. Our children are learning to become better classmates, peers, and members of our society through the great behavioral interventions we have received through Capitol Autism Services.
I can attribute help from CAS to the great milestones in my children's lives. I am grateful to have them come to my home and help bring a better life for my extremely special children.”

Hello, my name is Alisha Kesner, a former client of Capitol Autism Services. The only way I can explain what you have done for our family is you were God-sent. I don't think that our lives would be what they are today without the in-home services you have provided. That being said, I couldn’t think of anyone else that I would rather have for the Stonegate Elementary School Harvest Festival than Capitol Autism Services. I am on the Parent Teacher Organization and we are having information booths on special needs at the Harvest Festival, so I would like to invite you to our school on 10-21-11 from 4pm to 7pm to provide our community with information on autism services.
If this is something that you will be able to do, then please give me a call or email to let me know. Thank you again for everything you have done for not just my family, but all the families you have touched.
—Alisha Gomes-Kesner
