Tutor
This part-time (estimated 6-15 hours per week) position requires flexibility in schedule, boundless energy, an outgoing nature, team spirit, and reliable transportation. You will be required to implement individualized, in-home programs and behavior intervention strategies for children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), ranging in age from 18 months to 14 years. Due to the importance of this role in our client’s program, we request a minimum of a one year commitment.
Special Skills & Requirements
- Part-time availability (6-15 hours per week)
- Availability to work M-F in the afternoons and early evenings
- Patience and creativity
- Experience with children, preferably children with special needs
- Ability to maintain composure under stress and take direction
- Ability to legibly record data while at the same time engaging client in activities
- Willingness to commute at least 20 miles
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation, current drivers license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a Department of Justice fingerprint screening
- Must provide proof of a negative TB screening
