Lead Tutor
The Lead Tutor is responsible for assisting Consultants in creating and maintaining an effective learning environment through training and mentoring of Tutors and preparing instructional materials and aids for client. This includes maintaining order in the learning environment, assisting with lesson progression, and alerting Consultant of changes in client behavior or physical condition.
Special Skills & Requirements
- Experience in working with children diagnosed with ASD
- Ability to maintain composure under stress, take direction, and remain flexible.
- Ability to communicate clearly
- Associate of Arts degree or 60 units of study toward A.A. in appropriate subjects related to human development is requiredÂ
- Associate of Arts degree or Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology or early childhood education is preferred
- Reliable transportation, current drivers license and proof of auto insurance
- Ability to pass a Department of Justice fingerprint screening
- Must provide proof of a negative TB screening
